I called and spoke to a VP at this bank (Hanover) a few months back inquiring about a line of credit for my successful business. He indicated that they could loan a certain percentage against receivables so I decided to go in and talk. Once I was there (1 day later), he changed his story and there was no ability to loan against receivables! I brought in my tax returns at his request and decided to proceed to see if they could set up a small line for us. That was August. It's now November 17th and I haven't heard a thing. In fact, I emailed this VP last week to request an update and to return my tax returns, but haven't heard back. While I understand that a lot of banks aren't lending money right now, I would think that they could at least communicate! A review of their website states their motto as "The community bank that cares about you." That's certainly not been my experience and will not use this bank or refer anyone that I know in the business community to them. Scott W.
Very very very slow. I can be the only customer or maybe one other customer and it's 10-15 min for a simple transaction. Painful.
Always get good personal service, love a bank where they know your name.
